Not every job fits a package. If you have an aerial or ground media problem that is a little unusual, tell us what you are trying to see or solve. We will scope it honestly, tell you if it is in our lane, and if it is not, point you to someone who does it right. Available across Richmond and surrounding areas.
What we take on request
- Thermal roof and building scans. Aerial thermal imagery to spot roof moisture, heat loss, and hot spots on flat commercial roofs and building envelopes. Delivered as annotated thermal stills next to matching visual images.
- Solar array checks. Thermal passes over a panel array to flag dead cells and hot spots without walking the roof.
- Construction and site progress. Repeatable overhead flights that document a site over time against the plan.
- One-off aerial missions. Events, marketing pieces, inspections you cannot reach from the ground, and other specialized asks. If you can describe it, we can tell you whether we can fly it.

Questions on custom work
What counts as a special request?
Anything that does not fit a standard package. Thermal roof and building envelope scans, solar array checks, construction and site progress documentation, hard-to-reach inspections, and one-off aerial missions. If you can describe what you need to see, we can tell you whether we can fly it.
What thermal camera do you use?
A DJI Matrice 4T with a radiometric thermal sensor at 640x512 native resolution, alongside three visual cameras with hybrid zoom. Radiometric means the imagery carries temperature data rather than just a false-color picture, which is what makes an annotated roof or array report possible.
What do I actually receive from a thermal roof scan?
Annotated thermal stills paired with matching visual images of the same area, so a hot spot or a moisture signature can be located on the real roof rather than guessed at. Delivered through a private download gallery.
Can you document a construction site over time?
Yes. Repeatable overhead flights from consistent positions and altitudes, so each set compares directly against the last and against the plan. Monthly cadence is the usual pattern.
How is a special request priced?
Scoped per request, because the work genuinely varies. Send us what you are after and where. We confirm the airspace, confirm the job is in scope, and come back same day with feasibility and price.
What will you turn down?
Anything we cannot fly legally, anything outside our competence, and anything that needs a licensed surveyor. In the last two cases we will point you to someone who does it right rather than take the job and learn on your money.
