You made the shot. We help you close it out.
In the field
Real thermal captures from our DJI Matrice 4T. A warm subject reads as a bright signature against cool ground, and the onboard AI can lock onto and track a heat source automatically, day or night. From a resting animal to a warm engine or hot equipment on a job site, if it is holding heat, the sensor sees it.
A hard-hit deer that runs into thick cover at last light is the worst feeling in hunting. You know it went down. You just cannot find it before the coyotes and the heat do. A thermal drone changes that. We fly the woods from above, read the heat the animal is still throwing off, and walk you straight to it, often in minutes instead of a grid-search that ruins your night.
This is a location and search-assist service. We do not dispatch, track live, or handle the animal. We find it and get you to it.
A blood trail dries up. Rain washes it out. A gut-shot deer can travel farther than you think and bed down where you would never look on foot. From the air, a thermal sensor sees the whole search area at once and reads a heat signature that the naked eye and even a good tracking dog can miss in heavy cover. It is faster, it covers more ground, and it does not trample the sign while it searches.

If your club loses even a handful of deer a season to failed recoveries, a standing thermal partner pays for itself in tags filled and members kept happy. We can set up priority response for club members and a simple seasonal arrangement. Ask about club rates.
Not just for hunters
A missing dog or cat that will not come to a voice at night is its own kind of gut-wrenching. The same heat-seeking drone that finds a downed deer can search for a lost pet, and it does it faster than a crowd on foot with flashlights. A warm animal stands out against cool ground, brush, and tree lines, so we can cover a big area quickly and put searchers where they need to be.
If your pet is missing near greater Richmond, call and we will give you a straight read on whether a thermal flight makes sense tonight.
Missing pet?
The sooner we can fly, the better the odds, especially on a cool night. Call and describe where and when your pet went missing.

A drone carrying a radiometric thermal camera flies a search pattern over the area where the animal was last seen. A downed deer holds body heat for hours and shows up as a bright signature against the cooler ground, even under brush or in standing crops, so we can pinpoint it and walk you straight to the recovery.
The sooner the better, but thermal works best after dark and in cool conditions when the temperature gap between the animal and the ground is widest. A deer recovered the same night is far more likely to be found than one searched for the next afternoon.

Yes. As an FAA Part 107 certified remote pilot we operate legally at night with the required lighting and authorizations. Night is when thermal recovery performs best.
Often, yes. A dog or cat gives off body heat that stands out on a thermal camera against cooler ground, brush, or a tree line, especially at night. We fly the area where the pet was last seen and cover far more ground far faster than searching on foot. It works best in open or lightly wooded terrain and in cool conditions, and we are always honest about what the drone can and cannot see.
No honest operator can. Thermal dramatically improves the odds and cuts hours off the search, but conditions, terrain, and time since the shot all matter. We tell you straight what the drone can and cannot see.
